A disciple not merely accepts Jesus, believes in him, or admires him. But follows him--the way he lives, relates, loves. We’re called to live a life of faith. This isn’t just about knowing the right things and believing something to be true. Faith is trust. Trusting this Jesus that we’re following. Trusting him so much that we allow him to completely transform our hearts, minds, attitudes and actions. So that as we follow him, we become like him.
And in our following and trusting and becoming, we invite others to do the same.
