The world whispers a hollow promise: chase pleasure, power, and possessions, and you'll find meaning. Yet, after the pursuit, a deeper ache remains—a hunger for real joy & purpose. Jesus doesn’t offer a better version of the world’s dreams; He offers a different Kingdom. He looks at you and calls, “Follow Me.”

The early disciples were the first to realize that this wasn't a set of rules, but a life centered on a Person. They didn’t chase happiness; they chased Jesus. They were radical because they were in love. They were persecuted and pressured, yet in the midst of the struggle, they found a joy that the world couldn't touch. They discovered that radical obedience isn’t a burden; it’s the natural response of a heart that has found its greatest reward.
The Acts DTS is an invitation to stop settling for what the world offers and to pursue a life of purpose and fulfillment—a life lived entirely for Jesus.
Why 'ACTS' DTS?
God is transforming the world incarnationally—through us.
In Matthew 28:19, Jesus commissioned his followers to,
"Go and make disciples of all nations." The early disciples didn’t just have a task, they understood that following Jesus was the way to real life, and they wanted that for the whole world. So, they lived a life of radical, Spirit-led devotion that set the world on fire. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, they listened, obeyed, and changed the world. When you say “yes” to Him, you are joining that same movement to expand His Kingdom.

What you'll experience
Learning from the early disciples, the Acts DTS calls you to trade in the world's pursuits for the relentless pursuit of Jesus. We learn to live by the Spirit’s leading because being with Him is the prize. As we chase Him, we discover that radical obedience isn’t a burden—it’s an adventure without limits.

In our final weeks of DTS, we trace the footsteps of the first disciples, stepping into the stories of Acts and witnessing how the same Spirit that moved then is still moving now.
Following Jesus isn't just for the "mission field"—it’s for every corner of culture. Whether you are called to pioneer new frontiers, bring healing through medicine, lead with integrity in the marketplace, or reclaim beauty through the arts, it all begins with listening to the Spirit and going wherever He leads.

Lecture Phase: 4495 USD
Outreach/Post-OR Phase: 5495 USD + airfare

*Total cost includes all tuition, housing, food, ground transportation, Early Church tours & planned activities.
Fees do not include travel to/from YWAM Sun Valley, health/travel insurance and personal expenses (toiletries, eating out, extra activities). We will communicate any changes as far in advance as possible.​

Outreach Locations
Outreach locations for each team will be decided in the first month of Lecture phase. YWAM does outreach all over the world in places like India, Nepal, Jordan, Morocco & more.
What happens in DTS?
LECTURE PHASE
This portion of DTS is 11 weeks, with 9 weeks spent in Sun Valley (final 2 spent in the Mediterranean). Each week will cover a different foundational topic, taught by a variety of speakers from all over the world. You will also participate in worship & prayer times, small groups, service projects and adventure times throughout the week.
OUTREACH PHASE
After Lecture phase you will be sent on a 9 week international outreach. You will go with a team to serve others through mercy ministry, evangelism and partnering with the local body of Christ. This is a powerful time of living out all that you learned in Lecture phase and to participate in Jesus' call to "make disciples of all nations."
POST-OR PHASE
After the Outreach phase, all teams will travel to the Mediterranean where you will spend 3 weeks in the Post-OR phase.
These final weeks will equip you for your next steps as a disciple. You will have Lectures, debriefing and coaching to help you understand your role in growing God's Kingdom.
Along with this, you will get to experience the places where God's Kingdom first began. We will tour the early church sites (potential sites: Ephesus, Athens, Corinth, and Thessaloniki.) Stepping foot in the places we read about and being inspired to live like the early disciples, following the lead of the Holy Spirit.
You will graduate and be commissioned from here.
Life offers a thousand things to chase—pleasure, status, stability—yet they leave us empty. Jesus says that to truly find your life, you must first lose it in Him. We believe that following Jesus in total obedience is the most rewarding and fulfilling life possible. There is no greater pursuit than living entirely for the One who gave everything for you.
The world says play it safe. The Spirit says "Go."
